These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (whether as a job candidate, recruiter, employer, or website visitor) and Slicky (“Slicky,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your access to and use of https://slicky.in and related recruitment services.
By creating an account, authenticating via Google, GitHub, or LinkedIn OAuth, uploading application materials, or browsing active openings, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Candidate Accounts & Authentication
To access certain features such as application tracking, saved job bookmarks, and candidate profile management, you may register an account:
- Accuracy of Records: You agree to provide truthful, accurate, and current information regarding your identity, employment history, academic credentials, and work authorization.
- Credential Confidentiality: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials (whether email passwords or third-party OAuth access) and for any activity initiated through your account.
- Unauthorized Access: You agree to notify Slicky immediately at contact@slicky.in upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized account use.
3. Candidate Representation & Résumé Submissions
When submitting a job application or uploading a Curriculum Vitae (CV) through Slicky:
- Representation Authorization: You grant Slicky the professional authorization to present your profile, qualifications, and résumé to the prospective employer or hiring organization associated with that role.
- Originality & Verification: You represent that all uploaded documents are your own authentic work history and do not misrepresent professional achievements, certifications, or legal eligibility to work.
- No Placement Guarantee: While Slicky actively facilitates interviews and talent placement, submission of an application does not guarantee an interview invitation, employment offer, or specific compensation level, which remains at the sole discretion of the hiring client.
4. Employer & Client Engagements
Organizations utilizing Slicky to publish job openings, review candidate shortlists, or engage executive search services agree that:
- All posted job listings represent genuine, active employment or contracting opportunities with truthful compensation parameters and role requirements.
- Candidate information received through Slicky shall be handled in strict confidentiality and processed exclusively for evaluating employment suitability in compliance with applicable privacy laws.
- Direct recruitment terms, candidate placement fees, and guarantee periods are governed by specific service agreements executed between Slicky and the client organization.
5. Prohibited Conduct
Users agree not to engage in any of the following unauthorized activities:
- Extracting, harvesting, or scraping candidate profiles, job descriptions, or proprietary platform data using automated bots, crawlers, or scripts.
- Attempting to probe, scan, or bypass security boundaries, database Row-Level Security (RLS) rules, or server storage access controls.
- Impersonating any individual, hiring entity, or Slicky team member.
- Uploading corrupt files, malicious software, viruses, or misleading documents designed to compromise recruitment operations.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
The Slicky name, logo, domain (slicky.in), website interface, visual design systems, brand copy, and software architectures are the exclusive intellectual property of Slicky. Candidates retain complete ownership of their personal CV documents and application submissions.
7. Account Termination & Deactivation
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate any account or application pipeline without liability if we reasonably determine that a user has violated these Terms, submitted fraudulent credentials, or engaged in unlawful platform behavior.
Candidates may voluntarily deactivate or delete their accounts at any time through their candidate dashboard or by emailing contact@slicky.in.
8. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers
Slicky provides its platform and recruitment matching services on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Slicky disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
In no event shall Slicky, its directors, or affiliates be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from employment decisions, hiring client communications, or platform downtime.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal dispute or claim arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
