- Hiring & Inquiries Data: Organization name, job vacancy briefs, hiring requirements, and correspondence submitted through our contact channels.
B. Information from Third-Party Authentication (OAuth 2.0)
When you register or sign in via Google, GitHub, or LinkedIn, we receive authentication tokens and profile identifiers authorized by the respective identity provider:
- Google Sign-In: Verified email address, primary first and last name, and profile picture avatar.
- GitHub / LinkedIn OAuth: Account identifier, public profile handle, and verified email address.

- Direct Communication: Providing interview scheduling updates, application status changes (Received, Shortlisted, Interview, Hired), and responding to recruitment inquiries.
- Platform Integrity: Mitigating unauthorized scraping, abusive automated applications, and duplicate profile creation.
4. Google API Services & OAuth User Data Policy
Slicky's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres strictly to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements:
- We request only basic identification scopes (
openid,email,profile) required to establish your candidate account. - We do not transfer or disclose your Google user credentials to external parties, except as required to deliver direct recruitment services with your explicit consent or under applicable law.
- We do not use data obtained through Google OAuth to build advertising profiles, serve targeted ads, or sell to third-party data brokers.
- Human personnel cannot access your raw Google authentication tokens except where necessary to resolve technical security incidents or when required by legal process.
5. Résumé Confidentiality & Data Sharing
Slicky does not sell, lease, or monetize candidate data. Information sharing is strictly confined to verified recruitment scenarios:
- Prospective Employers & Clients: When you apply for a specific vacancy or authorize Slicky to represent your candidacy, your résumé, professional qualifications, and contact details are shared with the client's hiring team.
- Infrastructure Partners: Secure cloud providers hosting our database (Supabase), cloud hosting (Cloudflare), and private résumé storage under strict data processing agreements.
- Statutory Authorities: If required by a court order, regulatory mandate, or applicable law to protect legal rights or prevent fraud.
6. Data Storage & Technical Safeguards
We deploy multi-layered architectural safeguards to protect candidate credentials:
- Private Document Vaults: Uploaded résumés (PDF/DOCX) are stored in private cloud buckets with time-limited cryptographic signed URLs. Résumés are never publicly exposed or indexed by search engines.
- Row-Level Security (RLS): Database-level policies ensure candidates can access only their own profile details, applications, and bookmarked roles.
- Transport Encryption: All data transmissions between your browser, our servers, and storage layers are encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3).
7. Data Retention, Deactivation & Permanent Erasure
We respect your right to control your digital footprint:
- Account Self-Deactivation: You may deactivate your profile at any time directly through your dashboard. Your account is immediately quarantined from recruiter discovery.
- Right to Permanent Erasure: To completely and irreversibly wipe your profile, applications, and uploaded résumés from our active database and authentication system, you can submit a deletion request to contact@slicky.in. Requests are processed within 7 business days.
8. Candidate Rights & Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you hold enforceable rights regarding your personal data:
- The right to access, inspect, and obtain a copy of your stored candidate file.
- The right to rectify inaccurate or incomplete employment and educational records.
- The right to withdraw representation consent for any open job application.
- The right to object to automated screening or profiling.
